On the 28th November 2022, the local Green Party released a video covering Mid Sussex's District Plan update.
While we will leave the battle over individual sites to others, it is critical that new houses are fit for the future with the ability to use air or ground source heat pumps and solar panels. The promised net increase in bio-diversity must not be just a fairy tale. Sustainable transport links should be included in all plans and new developments must be able to cope with water, both the lack of it during draughts, and too much of it during the now more regular deluges.
